"This hotel was wonderful 10 years ago when my husband and first visited Myrtle Beach. This year spring break we brought 2 of our children and 2 grandchildren. Black tarps hung in the entrance to the lobby. Construction started every morning as we were eating breakfast. The lobby seemed as if I was in the way of the workers. When we talked with management one said that this would not bother them at all and another Assistant manager said in a few weeks this will be beautiful. We complained...

"The resort is very clean. All staffs are very kind. The key is needed to enter the elevator and different doors, which adds another layer of security. The location is the good and easy to drive to different places. "

"The room was very nice. Large area. It took a while to figure out how to work the thermostat controls and get the temperature to a comfortable area. The heat was a bit spotty in the living room area vs say the bedroom. The fireplace helped with living room heating. The comoliment of kitchenette dishes was sufficient for the time stayed. "Paid extra for a sea view, it seemed that the better rooms with a proper sea view and higher floors required an upgrade when you check in, which they kept pushing. Most of the pools were closed or dirty. The hotel is on the flight path. We had a junior suite and this has a window to a corridor, so anyone walking past looks in at the bed. Then you also have to pay extra for parking, resort fees and tax, so will have to add $60 per night to the hotel cost. "

"We had an Ocean view room when we arrived to the hotel. We did not know the hotel we arrived to was not our original hotel so we were really upset before we even got to experience it. We stayed in the beachfront rooms. It was very musky when you walk in very dusty. Our bed did have a bug in it and a few hairs that were not ours on the pillows. "Host was RUDE!! Water park was not functional so they sent us to "sister hotels" to their water park and it wasn't functional. The water in the rooms did not get hot AT ALL. Cold showers for everyone! There was a random man walking down the sidewalks with a knife!! Ocean racape is actoss the street from the hotel that you have to check in at. I do not recommend staying here. The only good thing was yhe size of the pool at a sister hotel. You have to drive to the sister hotel to swim. "

"King Oceanfront Room was spacious, clean, and updated with wooden floors. We requested the safe in the room to be fixed twice, but still did not work. The entrance door panel was broken and hanging the whole time we stayed. The bathroom was spacious, and the towels were thick and soft. The shower pressure was excellent. The king bed was very comfortable, the sheets were soft, and the comforter was perfect. The lazy river was quite dirty, but we spent most of our time at the beach. The adult pool...
