"We stayed in the Eagle Lodge! It’s in a great location to ski hill. It was clean, comfortable and plenty big for 10 of us. It’s well kept, a little dated but in a good way giving it a nostalgic mountain feel. The wood fire place was the cherry on top! Can’t wait to stay there again."

"Great service, clean and tidy, friendly staff, free breakfast, possibility to pack food for the day, free parking. Golden is a good place to go on several day tours tours to the Canadian Rocky Mountain National Parks. The price per night is a little high but that‘s the same for all hotels in that area. "

"Staff are really friendly, beds are comfortable, rooms are accessible from the parking for easy unloading from the car. There’s an adjacent park for the doggies. "

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and looked like it was newly renovated. The beds were comfortable. The heating in the room was great and warmed up quickly. The water pressure in the shower was great as were the towels and bath products. Breakfast was provided but located at a sister hotel across the road. We ate our own food so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. Overall a great place and the price was very reasonable."

"Had a fabulous vacation. The property was beautiful and lively with outdoor music, breakfast bagels on the patio & watching mountain bikers wind their way down the mountain. Grizzly Bear refuge was a highlight and enjoying the private hot tub on the balcony of our suite."

"It’s good for the price. It was clean, comfortable, and I appreciated having different heat controls in each room! However there is a dehumidifier in the main room, which runs all the time. We stayed for a week so we would shut it off at night so we could sleep and leave it on during the day. We had to empty it a couple times and it was full! The property is old, but has been refreshed with new paint, flooring, etc. which explains the dehumidifier. We didn’t have anything to scour dishes with,...

"Close to all nature attractions. Basic and clean. Good to stay overnight for a reasonable price. "

"We found the Golden Village Lodge to be clean and comfortable during our 1-night stay. It was literally next to the Glacier Raft Company, with whom we had booked a rafting tour. Most convenient . Not walkable to downtown Golden for meals but a short drive nonetheless. Didn't try the attached Indian restaurant but it looked nice from the outside. Overall, good value for money!"
