"They take very good care of you at this little gem of a hotel a block from the ocean ! I stay about three times a year and would not stay anywhere else in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Very reasonable parking prices, very clean and up to date rooms and always a great free breakfast to start your day ! That is a 40 buck savings from going to a local restaurant ! On top of all that they have local employees that are the reason they call Hawaii paradise ! Great folks who are always a joy to stop and chat...

"Definitely would stay here again. Staff was so friendly, helpful, kind, and really got to know you. Luau was great! Good location with very affordable parking. Does have a hidden resort fee when you check in of $400 so be prepared for that b/c i was not aware and many people i walked past checking in also were not aware. Beautiful view of water from all rooms and sunsets! Bar open to the ocean was great and could see amazing sunsets from there. Easy access to in town eats/ coffee/ stores too...

"Stay was easy and very enjoyable. The room was clean, dated but the highlight was the balcony. We ate takeout and breakfasts with a great view but could’ve cooked with the well prepared kitchen. The bed however was definitely lopsided and worn and pillows not too great either. The beach chairs included I would skip on and just rent at a store. Very easy location and parking for all the activities in Kona."

"The room was very clean and what I expected with an ocean view, well laid out, once we got the hang where to go, the tram was the main trans portion for the 1st few days until we got the lay of the property. All the employees are very friendly as well as other customers that we talked to. The dolphin area was awesome as well as the pools and we also got to see sea turtles. "The property itself was fine. I didnt like that they left opened condiments and a water bottle in the refrigerator. Or that the sink pop up didnt work, or what looks like mold developing on the shower liner. But you get what you pay for, so it is what it is. My plane changed after booking so I had to extend my time with a late checkout, which I paid almost a whole day for to check out at 5 pm instead of 10 am. However, the entry code did not recognize my code after 10 am. I tried contacting the...

"I really enjoyed my stay here.. met all my expectations. Wasn't until the last couple days I ordered food to back to my room at the food truck by the pool and was left highly disappointed... if I ate near the pool and not packaged to go the food portions were appropriate.. otherwise i felt completely ripped off. Don't want to punish the resort for a couple few bad actors that seem to have a chip on their shoulder. Ordered food on 6/2 @ 11:30am."
