"Everyone was so friendly and the place was such a great loct"

"This was our first time staying on the east shore and it was a great experience overall. Service was good but the building and amenities could use some updating. We stayed for a week over the thanksgiving holiday in a king suite with ocean views and the location was a great bouncing off point for daily activities. The staff are super friendly, helpful, and sweet. They made our stay welcoming and seemed on top of everything. We went to the pool every day and ate at a couple of the restaurants...

"The resort itself was very nice! We were disappointed to find that "garden view" meant a view of the parking lot. Had we known we would've paid for a better room. The pools were amazing and the Holoholo Grill was very good! They offer poolside service which is a fun perk, too. We asked for a late checkout but were told there would be a fee involved, however they waived it when we checked out which was very nice! Overall this was a great family friendly resort. "The staff was great especially my room attendant Elsie who went above and beyond to make my birthday there special as well as kept the room clean and provided amenities that made me comfortable while staying there. Besides the cleanliness I loved the ocean view right from the lanai! "

"I had a great beach view from my room, the pool area was quiet, amazing views of the sunsets, great service - valet, bar staff, and house keeping were all great. Best perk lots of walkable activities less than a mile away from the hotel - like the beach near the last lifeguard tower was amazing! I loved the protected snorkeling area, got to see colorful fish everyday and saw over 30 turtles."
