"A lovely old grade 2 listed house. Excellent location for Poole Quay and harbour. Parking in visitor’s public car park just across the road. Overnight parking is very reasonable. David was a fabulous host with plenty of stories to tell and the house is full of interesting “stuff” that he has collected. Delicious breakfast cooked to order. Our room on the second floor was very small and hot, but the others are bigger. Best to ask David before you book. Would definitely stay again."

"Still the best place to stay in Poole. Shower was awesome, enough room to get a rugby union team in!!! Great location near the restaurants on the Quay and a ten minute walk from the train station. Deluxe Room was very spacious and had an iron bath in the corner!! However, mattress was too soft and the pillows too 'fluffy'. Just a personal note, but we needed hard mattresses and 'dull' pillows. Breakfast is over-priced (plenty of coffee shops/delicatessens in Poole), but if you need to eat one,...

"This was our third time staying at the Nici and we did have a lovely experience. One thing let it down was the welcome from the reception, there is one lady and every time I have had to speak to her she is miserable.It such a shame as all the others were really friendly but she just had an attitude every time. This has put me off booking again as you feel unwelcome. South Beach Restaurant team were the total opposite, so happy and helpful. They went above and beyond. We ended up having 6 meals...

"Was a lovely simple property in the heart of Bournemouth, only a few minutes walk from the town or the beach. Self check in/out was seamless and they offered a decent self-service breakfast. Room was clean with plenty of amenities."

"Bit of an issue getting into the property as we arrived quite late but thought the pub would still be open. Sorted out quickly without a problem though. Room was really good, comfortable, clean with all we needed for a good night's sleep. Owner seems to have considered what was required really well. Breakfast was excellent & catered for all tastes. "The room was cleaned every day. Fresh towels were available. The staff was helpful, and could be improved. Breakfast was hot, and the food looked well-cooked. It was closer to Bournemouth International Centre and the beach. Driving to The New Forest is wonderful and a must-visit."
