"Staff were very friendly and generally the hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Bathroom could have been cleaner as there was a lot of dust on the extract fan. But overall, would stay again and recommend!"

"The property was easily accessible from the road and there's loads of parking available. Pretty handy when you can park your car right infront of your room. The staff were very helpful and provided useful information. The room , bed and amenities were clean and modern. Love how they've stocked up the fridge with breakfast. Loads of cereals available, good selection of coffee and tea and even thought of juice, yoghurt & milk. This here is a gem . Towels were provided, shampoo, conditioner ...

Pros - - spacious room - plenty free parking spot - tea & coffee options in the room - comfortable clean bed - loads of storage - iron and ironing board - huge bed - loads of storage area Cons - The room was failing and in desperate need of renovation or even a lick of fresh paint. "The whole property was spotless and had everything we needed"

"Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. "
