"The Royal Oak Inn is situated in a lovely area. It was easy for us to park. On arrival which was somewhat late, there was no one to look after us. I got the attention of someone in the kitchen who alerted the manager. We were given our room key and on arrival in the room I noticed that there was quite a bit of hair in the sink and some in the bathtub as well. "Andrew and Michelle are wonderful hosts and go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable - great hospitality. The hotel is well-situated, just a short walk to the shops and across from the beach. Free parking is available around the side of the hotel, but the spaces are tight - just something to bear in mind when driving there. Amazing breakfast! Clean and nice rooms, with tea, coffee and a kettle, and a lovely sea view. I would happily stay here again."

"It was great, the rooms where clean, bedding and towels spotless. Staff could not be more friendly accommodating. Breakfast was amazing, made to order and a large selection all fresh I might add. There are a few quirks around the building but this is what I was expecting from a building of this age, would I stay here again, without a doubt, next time we are in the area this will be our go-to place.
