"Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, pretty and spacious garden, safe off road parking.
3 very comfy bedrooms, nice living room with dining table. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher as well as utility room with washing machine.
The road is a bit noisy with very fast traveling, but we soon got used to this. It wouldn't put us off staying here again.
The location of cottage is close to many lovely attractions including Forest of Dean, Clearwell Caves and Puzzle Wood."
"It is not often that a hotel becomes the highlight of your vacation. THORNBUrY IS THE EXCEPTION TO THAT RULE!
We felt to transported to hundreds of years in the past in terms of the architecture and the style of interior furnishings. At the same time, it had all of the service amenities, quality of fixtures and furnishings, food anf service that is expected of a five star hotel.
Well worth the price of our stay, we so wish to return."
"Beautiful place, with excellent staff.
We were unluckily because they celebrate weddings and we arrive with a wedding on-going.
The music was fine (not too loud) the guest were fine, normal noise for a wedding.
The kids fron the wedding were under our window, playing shouting and screaming (normal for kids) but it was very late night and very early morninig so we did not have too much rest.
We will come back but we will make sure is not a wedding day."

"The hotel was very clean the staff were very helpful and friendly the food was very nice we ate in the bar area it was very relaxed. If I had one negative it was thst the bed was a little hard it could have done with a mattress topper. "
"Super accommodation. The staff are ultra attentive and the food is first class. Beautiful part of the world to stay in but maybe a little remote for some. Only slight drawback was we were housed in the ground floor room of the boathouse and the noise of people walking around in the room above is very loud. If they got up in the night it wakes you up."
