"Staff was so friendly and kind. Room was absolutely beautiful. My only complaint for a not 5 star was that there were slightly large bugs in our room, not on the bed but on the floor, I’m only assuming since it’s dark with the solar lighting. Other than that this place was absolutely stunning and I will be returning!"

"Worst bed I have slept in for over 30 years of business travel. Mattress was a train wreck. Would recommend a change or at a minimum some rotation as some big/heavy people must have slep in that room often?"

"Check-in was so smooth, and then I walked into a beautiful, well-decorated room. I loved the aesthetics and history behind the building. The gnocchi dinner at the bar was incredible. Highly recommend the Foundation for your next Detroit visit. "

"Great free cooked breakfast; let us check in a bit early after we arrived via an overnight flight. Peoplemover (free) tram is directly across the street; avaiable to access the YMCA about a block away."

"Nice hotel, clean, great location but best of all great service and nice rooms. Everyone in this hotel is very nice and accommodating. If you ask where something is, they take you to it. If they don't something you need, they go above and beyond with trying to get it for you. Room was nice, very hot out, but a/c cranked. Last day of check out we went to their downstairs activity room. Golf, bowling, pool, shuffleboard, a bar and appetizers. Easiest way to kill an hour of two with the kids...

"Our stay here was exceptional except you weren't allowed to bring outside food in or DoorDash. I understand that since they have a restaurant on-site but it closes earlier than we thought. We were in town for a concert and wanted a bite to eat afterwards but just went to be a bit hungry lol. We probably could have found somewhere to dine but it was 11 pm on a Wednesday...not many dine in spots hence the need for DoorDash. I would absolutely stay here again despite that minor inconvenience....

"I seen bed bugs in the spa and they did nothing about it besides say write a statement with security. We stayed for 2 nights Father’s Day weekend. We requested the room be cleaned in between our visit and they only made the bed with the same stained sheets we walked in too. Yuck. No accommodations no nothing"

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Greektown area was safe and welcoming. Dunkin’ Doughnut was a good choice for breakfast. Casino staff and bartenders were nice and they didn’t mind being asked about anything you didn’t understand."

"Nice hotel, old, neat building. No pool which was my oversight for child purposes. Not a bad walk to Comerica… we enjoyed our stay! Breakfast onsite is pricey but decent. Would visit this hotel again."
