They said it was repaired the next day, but when we walked towards the room, we could smell gas from outside. They told us it was just a back build up that needed to dissipate, and we left our door open for an hour till it mostly went away. "The property is surrounded by others recently modernized and stands out as a bit dated. The staff were friendly and efficient. My room seemed one of the ones not recently updated. Still it was clean, comfortable and quiet to a degree that was impressive. I would say that it is overall homey and comfortable, as if your relative was expecting you and had cleaned it meticulously before you got there. My eye might be drawn to one of the more modern properties, but I doubt they would be more...

"There was a mess in the elevator that had the elevator stinnnkkkking so bad we avoided it, wasn’t cleaned wven when we left on Sunday but everything else was amazing! Idk if it was throw up, or dressing but it looked chunky and it was very stinky, we mentioned it to staff the first night and it was ignored so we took the stairs "

"Room was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were not very comfortable for us. There is parking in the property but fyi, you will be charged $15 per night, not sure that was clear in the desperation of the hotel. We walked to a lot of places in Gatlinburg from the hotel so it is in a convenient location."
