"Breakfast menu was pretty good - cereal, fruit, yoghurt, deli meats, pastries etc. freshly cooked eggs Benedict was superb, as was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Not much in the way of sausage/ bacon / eggs - but not needed."

For example, I was initially given an incorrect breakfast ticket (each ticket is date-specific), and I had to return to my room to retrieve the correct one before being allowed entry. The location is excellent—very close to shopping areas in Kyoto, which makes it highly convenient for exploring the city. Overall, it may not be the best choice for families due to the room size, but it works well for short stays or travelers focused on being out and about."
