Personally I would have preferred a little amenities kit in the bathroom and I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. With a buffet I expected more items on the menu and some of the pastry and hot food tasted quite stale which was disappointing considering the price. Overall, lovely hotel."

Admittedly it was at the end of the heatwave and despite a fan working full blast every surface in the room was not warm but hot, only one window would open 4" max. The suite overlooked the inner yard with massive pipework and heating units with a huge steel chimney beside our window. "The location of this hotel can't be beat! The castle, stadium and tons of shops/restaurants were all within walking distance. The staff was so kind and helpful. However, the rooms were quite dingy and they dont allow you to take your room key out of the hotel."
