I suppose they hadn’t considered that many women wear make up and need light for that. Impossible to do my make-up (even in the morning) as bathroom too dark, no lighting on desk, no plug on desk for mirror. "

Our only complaint was that we had some noisy neighbors upstairs who were stomping around in their room (our ceiling). "

"Property has a good location, close to many restaurants and shopping. The train passes close but it is not obtrusive. This is a good location for a night, two or three."

"Staff at the front desk was so basic and just did his job. The room was was nice, we had two Queen beds, that were very firm and somewhat lumpy but we were tired and slept until the maids started working at 6:45. We were unfortunately in the room next to their storage supply area. The hallway was carpeted, but from the supply area to the lobby, it was tile so we can hear them pushing their wagons. And the back window from our room was next to a gate in garbage area so we kept hearing that. Tehachapi is a really nice area for an overnight stay.
