"I like coming to this placa . I feel like they need to clean the pool more often"

"Room was clean, staff had zero interest in allowing early check in. At 3 pm a huge line is formed to start check in with only 1 staff. Breakfast was minimal. Staff would not allow guest to use laundry till after they had checked in, dryer was not working. So I has a very poor experience."

"The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I couldn't recharge my cell phone in my room as none of the electrical worked and were way too loose to hold the cord snugly. I told the front desk staff and a young woman asked to come to our room to check them out and I assume to put in a work order. I ended up charging my cell phone in the lobby."

"The maintenance of the property is poor. The urinal on the first is broken, making the whole area stinky. We were given a room for handicapped people, and the front desk girl refused to help after request for a change."

"Nice calm hotel with beautiful mountain background. Have stayed here several times and haven't had any issues. Usually my go to hotel when driving through the grapevine. They have a pool but haven't had the chance (weather) to get in."

"The breakfast was a nice and tasty variety that included crispy bacon or turkey sausage. I took my breakfast up to my room and was offered a tray to help me carry it! I enjoyed everything about my stay including the room, staff, location and attractive lobby. I would definitely stay there again."

"Site said double bed and showed pictures of 2 beds, but the room only had 1 bed. First room we got to had a leak as well. They moved us to a new room that smelled very moldy."

"Our room was fairly clean and comfortable. It had a nice shower and bathroom area. However, the area around it is a little bit sketchy and we were nervous parking our our boat and pickup on the street. But we didn't have any issues with break-ins or anything like that. I noticed there was accumulation of sand on the windowsill. I think they have sand storms there though we did not experience that."

"The property is well maintained, clean with a security gate in downtown Bakersfield so much quieter than freeway locations. Breakfast costs extra."
