"I’ll start by saying The Lodge operates best when Leveena is working the front desk. I hope I spelled her name correctly. She took amazing care of my needs as I was recently out of a major surgery and was not able to walk. On her days off, The Lodge seemed understaffed, and certain things did not work smoothly, starting with trying to reach the front desk. One night it took nearly two hours for someone to be available to bring me ice. The restaurant next door suffered through similar staffing...

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We checked in around 11:00 after driving for over twelve hours. The room we rented the shower did not work and had cockroaches in the tub. They gave us another room which was no better than the first except the shower worked. Someone should inspect these hotels before you list them . This was the 2nd hotel out of the 4 that were unacceptable . The Hyatt House in Pleasant Hill was the best."

"I always like staying here. I’ve stayed a couple of times and it’s always clean. But like anywhere else sometimes the linen might have a stain or burn not all the time. But they take care do it right away when you inform them."

"The room is very clean, the manager is very nice, the only thing is there is a drunk male in front of our room , and he is not even stay in the hotel. I feel not comfortable, everytime we got to our room in the evening, we have to ask the manager, to move him, this is happening 2 days . And we didn't get the bottle of water because we didn't book directly from Best Western 😒"

"The hotel was ok, not to many parking spots ,neighborhood a litle creapy to many homeless not safe to go around at night"

"We only lasted 10 minutes at the motel, then check into another accommodation, we also lost our money this accommodation. Floor was dirty, bed base was ripped, bed cover had cigarette burns and was filthy with stains on it, we pulled the cover back the sheets were dirty, 2 pillows on the bed that were also dirty. Would not recommend this place. Should not be a 2.5 star"

"No closet to hang clothes. Need instructions on how to use the tv. Had 2 remotes and no explanation as to what to do with them. Manage to turn it on but difficulty in finding a channel. Eventually just turned it off. Rooms had wooden floors so can hear the occupant next door move the desk chair. Load scraping noise across the floor each time they moved. Truck parked in front of our unit that turned on and rev the big engine at 6am. Ok just to stay 1 or 2 nights but not longer. Some...

"This is an iconic property. Friendly, solicitous staff, outdoor courtyard is unusually fun—big pool and spa, basketball court, shuffle board."

"Location was fantastic, close to Chestnut restaurants and stores. Within walking distance to the ocean coast and wonderful parks nearby. Parking was also included, which is why we chose the motel. Staff was very helpful and courteous."
