"The hotel was clean and safe. The location was good and the free shuttle to St Armand’s was a nice bonus! However, there were a few issues - the room we had was in the Escalera tower and had an outdoor entrance and there was always a huge puddle in front of our door. Our door lock was very particular and we got locked out several times, the poolside amenities were not great - there was a volleyball court with no volleyball so we couldn’t use it. Everything is within a 10 minute drive (breakfast spots, shopping souvenirs, supermarket and drug store/pharmacy). The property is well maintained and pristine. The rooms are modern and clean. Parking on site is available for $40 a night. The pool is clean and fun. The beach was behind the property and beautiful. Watersports are on site as well. The weather was great. The sun was strong, but at times...
