Despite there being no air conditioning the room had a patio door which once open cooled the room. Upon request the hotel provided a fridge for my elderly mothers insulin, unfortunately the fridge was faulty and froze the insulin which caused a unplanned medical issue. "I loved this B&B. Very welcoming right from the start. Outside beautiful with lovely flower baskets and tables and chairs to sit at. Everyone we met was happy and welcoming and the breakfast was amazing. Good size room and lovely shower. Some of the fittings were a bit worn but this you expect in an old building. Would definitely use again."

"Really nice hotel. Room was really hot but it was a heat wave and probably not a problem most of the time. Staff were so friendly and helpful especially in the pub for dinner and breakfast. Easy access to train station and travel in to London. Was a nice place to stay outside of all the business. Easy access to Stansted airport too. Would definitely stay again."

"Check in was great, nice & easy and the room was ready straight away. The room was a twin, a great size but very tired. The carpet could do with changing and the shower sealant definitely needs re-doing as it was black in areas. Breakfast was plentiful, could have been warmer but nothing too drastic.
