"I booked this location strictly because day spa advertises a hamman/whirlpool, but it’s not working. You don’t find that out until you’re at your treatment ready to use it. They advertise it like it’s still available.The swimming pool looks nothing like the picture, the whole outside pool area is torn up. The bed was horribly soft, it’s an open air hotel,so when it rained the entire time the whole interior carpet gets wet. The place smells moldy. Definitely not an upscale hotel or spa as advertised. Be warned! This place needs major work!"

"We've stayed at the Intercontinental here many times and it continues to make us smile. This time was wonderful - especially the quality of the buffet dinners. Always a welcoming place that is dependable to take care of you with always weird arrival and departure times."

"We loved our stay here. Each villa has its own small pool and a great view of the large lagoon. There was also a lovely hammock out back that was so comfy to lie on. The two rooms had AC so they were nice and cool as we slept. They also offer a very delicious breakfast, at an additional cost. A truly special and unique place."
