"We walked from train station and did not have an automobile at the site. Yet--we were charged for valet parking of a vehicle---$55 despite telling the desk that we did not have a vehicle and did not need valet parking. Please correct this error. "

The price you have to pay to be in a construction zone is more than it is worth the staff minus the valet staff was something you would expect from a motel 6 and charged the price of staying at a ritz Carlton which I would choose if rather than be placed from one inadiquite room to another. "One of the best hotels rooms i have been in. My wife and I have visited the area numerous times and this will be the hotel we stay. Rooms have a nice view of they ocean. Kitchen, living room, outdoor grill and a very nice shower. Hotel offers plenty of other"

"Everything was very nice given the level of the hotel. The view is spectacular. The breakfast is adequate but not hot other than great waffle makers. The staff is very helpful. The hot tub is hot and provides a nice view from the area looking at the ocean. The garage is clean and sufficient. It overlooks PCH but the closed windows muffled the noise."

Biggest issue was we had a king suite for $170 per night for three nights and then I changed it to two queen size beds and when we got there it was no longer a suite and the charge was $300 per night and the hotel would have made the adjustment but they said they couldn’t because basically Expedia owned and purchased the rooms so the rate was up to Expedia and they would not...

"The woman at the front desk switched us to a single queen bed room even though we had booked and paid in advance for a single king bed room. When I went back to the front desk to complain, she tried to convince that she gave me an upgrade by downgrading the bed size. She was rude and unprofessional. "

"My wife and I had an excellent 2-night stay in unit 3 while visiting San Clemente for our nephew's HS graduation. The unit was perfect for us. Clean, spacious and well appointed. The view and sounds of the surf breaking on the beach was loved. The one and only nuisance was the beach campfire smoke that would blow in with the onshore breeze each night from around 7 to 10:30pm.
