"Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends."

"We stayed 3 days in the room with the private terrace and hot tub which could be enjoyed even in the middle of winter. The pub itself was very welcoming with very good lunch and evening meals and an excellent breakfast. Dogs were also made welcome with an outside area exclusively for them, but it is a shame not all dog owners apprecited this and were not responsible for cleaning up after them. If in the summertime should the pub or the very nice large public gardens get crowded all residents...

"We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage plus a table and 2 bucket chairs as well as a dressing table and chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was bright with a good sized shower including a rainfall as well as a shower hose. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were helpful too."

"Great room, good and clean. Great decor and would certainly visit again. (Too good to say a "stay" as host so personable and friendly). Self check in as such, but only because of our travel time varied, would have been met by owners. Great hosts, giving good local advice and hints and tips, could not do enough to help us a new to the area. Bed very comfortable and certainly a warm room. We felt really at home here. "I really liked how the hotel was presented, it was a pleasure to see lovely gardens and such a stylish interior. Every room was really like a room from an interior designers catalogue so thoughtfully decorated we had the extra bonus of seeing it decorated for Christmas. The lounge was really nice with complimentary hot drinks and cookies. Wonderful hotel not far from the town and beach."
