"This place was a great for our days in Cairo. Located near downtown Cairo and the staff at the hotel was amazing. Rooms were clean and liked that they offered breakfast and had dining area. Staff accommodated us and were able to book our room for another night. Staff was also kind and allowed us to leave our bags in hotel before check in since we arrived early and had plans to visit the museum etc. hotel also offers tours for guests. Would definitely recommend this place. "

"Great location where you feel safety and good restaurants , backery shops, vodaphone shop, ATMs are in walking distance. Hostel has Super clean rooms, comfy beds, good hot and cold water in showers, spacious common areas & balcony. Shared kitchen. Good healthy Breakfast is also availabile at super cheap price. Certainly recommend to all future guests."

"I booked an 18-day stay through Expedia and ended up leaving 5 days early due to a change in plans. I personally informed the hotel manager 3 days before my departure and clearly requested a refund for the unused nights. He agreed and told me to wait until the booking processed and to follow up at the end of the month. When I followed his instructions, he first delayed the process saying he was on vacation. "Stayed at the Sofitel Zamalek and overall had a great experience. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast buffet at $30 was fresh and varied, and the location is fantastic—safe and convenient. A heads-up: airport transfers are now $110 USD, which is way overpriced—Uber is a much better option. Prices across the hotel have gone up, and the online menus aren’t updated, so be prepared for that. Despite that, the service and comfort made it a solid stay."

"We had an excellent stay at the Atum Hotel. It was my boyfriend and myself (two Americans in our 20s), and we felt very comfortable and safe here! The staff, the room, the food, and the location were all incredible! The staff was very helpful in arranging our pickup and offering to book tours for us. The room was nice with high ceilings, a nice shower, and lots of storage. The hotel is the 4th floor of the building, and the elevator is pretty sketchy, but other than that, everything was great!...
