"Room smelled like smoke! Staff didn’t want to move room claimed all booked! They sprayed room 2x helped a little. Wife uses c-pap machine and not healthy to have even trace of smoke. Staff informed us one of maids are smokers but could have been guest smoking by window. Told to speak to manager which was a waste of time! Disappointed same usual don’t care about customer attitude!"

"The hotel needs renovation, however the bed linens were clean. The bed covers need washing as often as the linen."

"After camping at Joshua Tree National Park, we wanted one night at a hotel so we could all shower before flying home. Because we are a family of five, we opted for this over one of the several run-of-the-mill hotels in 29 Palms, and I'm glad we did. The yurt was much more spacious than a hotel room. The yurts are hundreds of feet apart so we did not hear the guests in the other yurts at all. The water in the outdoor shower was warm and the shower comfortable. The toilet was a boat toilet and I didn't love having to pump it after using it because the mechanism is a little stiff and I have some hand issues, but that was a relatively minor thing. Overall, super pleased we stayed here over a traditional mothel/hotel."

"Interesting concept. Really enjoyed staying in a modified AirStream without having all the set up and break down. You have to be ready to haul your luggage in a cart to your camper, but it wasn't hard to do. Appreciated the security offered by the entry gate. Lots of items for sale in the main building. Desk staff very friendly and helpful. "

"Hotel is clean, staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious and well thought out. Breakfast buffet was a great way to start our day trip to Joshua Tree."
