"The hotel is nice due to central located. However, beyond the hotel control, the neighboring buildings are abandoned and full of graffiti, so no real view of anything from the balcony. The room size was great, didn’t utilize the bar/restaurant. The downfall was the cleanliness in the bathroom and lack of water pressure in the shower. Not sure what the rules are on using bleach to clean, but the shower stall def needs it. Not sure if it was a water pressure issue or actual shower head...

"Room was not ready at check-in. The front desk staff did its best but was clearly overwhelmed by the situation. Elevators are extremely small. There was an issue with my door and opening and closing it that was exacerbated by the humidity. It's an older property and it shows but the staff was pleasant and, given the value compared to others hotels in the location, the trade offs in amenities and minor bothers were par for the course.
