"The hotel overall was very nice, clean, good facilities, and the rooms spacious. Staff were mostly very friendly. The food and drinks were of good quality, but ridiculously overpriced. I understand there are overheads to making a portion of chips and a half pint of draft cola, but £9.00 is going too far. I hear the alcoholic drinks were even more ludicrous. "Very open and airy. Staff welcoming,friendly, and attentive. Being disabled I had requested a ground floor room, which I got. However it was a box room, with the bed against the wall on one side and barely a foot on the other side to get in. The bed was very soft, therefore not that comfortable for me. "

"Great welcome. Manager/owner he was at the entrance to welcome us in as we got out the car and offered to carry bags which was lovely. Asked if we needed breakfast but we didnt as heading off early. Quirky rooms but all well decorated and tea/coffee, ironing board. Had air con and fan as a top floor hot room so good was there already. Only a one night stop over but would definitely recommend/ return in the future."
