"This hotel is a must stay gem close to all the happenings in midtown, but on quieter, charming street! We received an upgrade to a king suite and it was absolutely phenomenal! Two bedrooms and a private balcony - completely unexpected and so special for a birthday trip! The staff is super friendly, entrance is private and intimate, with very friendly staff! Easy breakfast at the quaint restaurant next door. Would absolutely love to stay here again!! Thank you!"

"Staff was amazing, rooms were clean quaint 2nd floor sitting area and breakfast each morning. Rooms have window AC units which are not the most ideal but everything else was great including location"

"The only criticism I have is the site lists one of the main amenities as sound proof rooms and all I could hear literally all night were rude neighbors blaring music till after 4 am! That’s not soundproof and super annoying"

"Great Location in Manhattan with easy access to Tome Square, transportation and tourist sites…and the staff made this a great experience. Room was kept at a comfortable temp but bathroom smelled like a cigarette through the entire stay and the restaurant in the hotel but not associated with the hotel was our most expensive (twice the cost of restraints) meal for mid-range not so great food. Take the time to walk to a dinner spot and save the money! Would definitely stay again if we come...

"Clean room"

"We booked and paid extra for a room with a view but there wasn’t much to see from the floor we were on and the side we faced. Also beware they hold $300 deposit for incidentals and such when you check in, this was never refunded after calling the hotel and waiting 10 business day, had to dispute with credit card. In addition, grout in bathroom floor was filthy and stained, not properly cleaned or maintained. Finally skip the breakfast, food was decent but folks working there are unfriendly."

"One of the wonderful things about a CitizenM is their amazing lobby! It's designed to be inviting, a place to congregate or a nice place to come take a load off after a long day. The living room style set up has books, work centers and a really nice bar where you can enjoy a nice tall drink. I book a CitizenM as often as I can. "Excellent hotel in a convenient Mid-Manhattan location. Times Square, the Empire State Building, and many other popular attractions are within easy walking distance. Penn Station is also nearby, making travel to and from JFK Airport by subway simple and convenient. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay.
