"This is a small and unique property, with a very welcoming staff. It is a "throw back" to the times when hotels were a special place and not a chain commodity. The rooms were large and well appointed. The hotel is close to the Vieux Carre, but far enough away from the madness of Bourbon Street. Our room had the best hotel shower ever - which says a lot about the quality of the property in general. I would not hesitiate to stay there again."

"The facility is very nice. The physical condition is wonderful. But the billing is TERRIBLE. It took me 7 days to get a receipt! To add insult to injury, I was charged for Valet Parking even though I pre-paid for it. I have had to pay for parking twice. Come on Marriott, you are better than than."

"Large rooms/studio with renovated bathroom and full kitchen and living/dining space. The hotel is in the french quarter steps away from the aquarium, original cafe du monde, casino and Bourbon Street and all the action. Tons of restaurants are nearby as well as retail stores at the outlet mall. The staff was welcoming and the concierge offered various recommendations for activities and tours. We enjoyed our stay."
