"Literally home away from home! This hostel/hotel is made up of three converted walk-ups. There are hostel-style rooms with multiple beds, and there are hotel-style rooms with bed and full bathroom. "The hotel is nestled into the Glover Park section of DC near Georgetown. The hotel appears to have gone through a renovation which was well done. Check in is manual, but a quick process. Our room, a King deluxe was spacious and had a small kitchen with stove, fridge and sink, so you can apparently stay long term. The corner room had a view of the Washington Monument and some very nice G-town homes next door. Bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. Our dinner at Davino was also...

"The front desk staff was very helpful during the check in process and changing of rooms. To no fault of theirs, we had to change rooms and I ended up in an hypoallergenic room which was perfect for me. Room was clean and had the most wonderful view. Room service was great."

Not only is it luxurious and friendly, but you'll find at least 5 taxis by it at any time (a definite plus when certain Metro lines are being repaired). Added bonus: the signature house fragrance is unspeakably delicious. You will love your stay here!"
