"I liked most things. The bed was one of the most comfortable on which I have slept. The bath was really nice, long and comfortable. The hot water was hot whenever I wanted it. "This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill! Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from. "Stayed 2 nights while visiting family in the area, found the Red Lion through an internet search, reviews were good and the price was reasonable, so we booked. Very happy we did, all the comments from the good reviews we found to be accurate. "Difficult to find and very problematic checking in. Digital check in never opened for me. The only way I was able to get into my room was that I was let in by a management person. I didn’t leave for dinner because I was afraid I’d be locked out. I wanted to drop my luggage around noon so I could see the sites without suitcase in tow but since there is no on site staff and no check in until 4 that was not possible. Please come up with a solution for travelers who need to store luggage. "
