"I was there eight nights and recommend this is a wonderful hotel, well-located in heart of Amsterdam. It's located on a small city plaza surrounded by outdoor cafes and restaurants (and clubs). Noise is a factor for some late in the evening, but it did not bother me and I had a front-facing room. Staff provided professional and friendly service. If you are looking for a modern-style corporate chain, bland hotel, this is not for you. Its's older--the lift has a regular door and no inside...

"The room was spacious, clean and just all around perfect! We had the most amazing time, the shower was huge, as was the bed. The amenities was fantastic! Robes, slippers, speaker mini bar the whole 9 yards! Would absolutely recommend for couples and without a shadow of a doubt be back!! 11 out of 10!!!"

"Hotel was in great walking distance to everything ! Staff were extremely helpful ! Breakfast was great ! Only thing I found difficult were the rooms were very tiny but nice and if you are travelling with alot of luggage you need to ask for one of their larger rooms we were going on to a River Cruise so had two large bags & 2 carry on only room to open 1 of the large suitcases at a time !"

"Had a junior suite - very nice. Clean and plenty of room. Nice little balcony. Very central location. Inside the hotel was nice and staff was outstanding. Outside the property / the side walks are pretty dirty and the area is very busy. Felt safe though. While waiting for our car service outside, the front desk staff kept coming out and checking in with us. She was so nice."

"This is a hidden gem / 'Speakeasy'. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff & owners were gracious and accommodating. The cocktail bar was unique and inviting. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the WiFi was strong. The area is easy to get to from the metro or central train station - very walkable. Highly recommend!"

Location is lovely Room is tiny and there is barely anywhere to put the luggage - hotel recommended to put it in the drawer under the bed, but that’s quite a bit of work if your luggage is heavy and of bigger size. The iPad-controlled lighting is amazing. Price is at higher side comparing to the size of the room, but a very cosy stay overall."
