"Was given the key to an occupied room so walked in on a half naked lady. Tv aerial defect had to play around to so aerial stayed in tv. Shower amenties poor "

"The advertised restaurant and bar was not open. Breakfast advertised as 7.00am-9.00pm when booking was changed to 7.00am-8.-00am. Ni infomation folder in room or hairdyer. Staff no paticularly helpful or friendly. Would not recommend."

"I had the best time here, its so peaceful, stunning views and a very clean, spacious room. But to top it off the couple running it were the nicest people you will ever meet. They know so much about the history of the surpunding area and will give you advice for activities to do if you are ever stuck. I would highly recommend staying here and i will 100% be returning "

"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "Hilary and Graham were fantastic hosts, super knowledgeable, we felt right at home. Breakfast was great too and their garden was perfect for enjoying the sun. Would recommend!"

"Staff were excellent. Food very good. Appreciated group of 10 having separate area for meals. Not keen on the bath in the bedroom, nowhere reachable to put soap or shampoo. No washbasin in the toilet. Would be better to make shower room with toilet. Bath not easy to get in and out."

"Accommodation was good. Very clean and spacious the only downside was the lighting in the room was very poor. For some reason we were placed in a disabled room so everything was very low. As we were only staying one night we did not ask to be moved. The sink in the bathroom had no plug and was very lowdown we are tall people so it made washing a bit difficult. "We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....
