"Reception is the bar! Very pleasant and patient staff. Pricey evening meal, but a nice restaurant with a good choice on the menu. Nice gardens including a giant chess set - all very well kept. Big car park. Nice room, clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom, but I didn't try the shower. Tassimo coffee machine. Great breakfast menu - I had steak and eggs for no supplement, which was a lovely surprise, thanks. I don't travel down this neck of the woods very often, but I'd stay again having grabbed...

"Check in was seamless and I was greeted with a welcoming smile. Due to my needs I require a certain room, as this was not available upon check in, they made my room change the next day and made sure all the front desk staff were aware. I really appreciated this, so I didn’t have to keep repeating myself. The staff always greeted you with a hello and a smile and the room was clean and fresh to high standards. I always make sure I stay here when working in Bedford and look forward to staying again...

"Room is comfortable but very hot. No AC available and hot days can be very difficult to sleep. Positives: hotel breakfast improved from previous visits and staff are very happy to help. Location is the strong strength, in the heart of Peterborough. Car park is also a great advantage."

"I had a single room which was well laid out with an excellent on-suite. The bar was well stocked with very good hot bar snacks. My only negative was that they did not have draft beer. "Worst experience ever. Don’t be fooled by the Ramada name,it’s at best a one star hotel. No air conditioning at all, it was 30 degrees in June and they provided a single desk fan for five of us. We asked for an additional fan and they refused our request. After asking again in 24 hours time they gave us one more fan. There is no sink in the toilet area so have to take dirty hands into bedroom for washing. We asked for the sheets to be changed, they just did the bed sheets and we were forced to...

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly. We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"
