"This property is a jewel; it has B&B vibes! I loved that they use actual room keys instead of key cards, as they are famous for demagnetizing. I didn’t use the spa, but it looked very clean. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. Also it’s well within walking distance to The Village and we attended a free Tuesday Blues band concert. Also has hiking trails which I’ll be back to explore. Mostly what I loved is the quiet location; no road noise! It was as quiet as my best camping trip."

"I really liked that this property wasn't busy and also enjoyed the simple room set up. What I didn't like was that the bathroom was dirty. There was a dried blood stain on a cabinet and dirt near the door corner by the tub. These two things looked like they could've been cleaned but was probably missed due to a rushed cleaning. The toilet handle was also broken and the bathroom door would not shut. You really do get what you pay for at this place."

"Everything you need is all here and very convenient. The girls liked the pool, there's a barbecue grill outside, entertainment offers, karaoke, playgrounds, and free breakfasts. The bed was really comfy. Would like to stay there again and highly recommend staying there."

"Quick overnight trip to Tahoe left me with limited options for room bookings. Caesar's, Harrahs and Bally's we're all well over $400 a night. I found a king renovated room at this hotel for $250 so I jumped on it. Not going to lie, reviews made me extremely nervous but I was pleasantly surprised. The renovated rooms on the 6th floor were great and the pool looked nice but I didn't get a chance to dip. The hotel itself is nice and check in was quick. I'd def give this place another stay in the...

"I liked the property, because it felt like an old time motor court. The staff were friendly and very nice. They waved at us and talked to us as we’re their friends. We will go back because of the location to the beach and the staff were great."

"We paid nearly $600 for one night, including taxes and fees, and were very disappointed. The main photo on Expedia is misleading. It shows the cute gift shop at the front of the property, not the actual hotel, which is hidden behind it. The hotel itself is very old, run down, and looks nothing like the listing front photo. The carpet in our room had obvious stains, and the biggest issue was the bedding. The sheets, blankets, and covers all had visible yellow stains, making us uncomfortable...

"Upon arrival, had to check-in by phone. Very impersonal and took too long. The room was small with a tiny bathroom. No information or instructions was provided in the room. I paid a premium for the view of the lake and it was just okay, at best. I expected more for the cost."

"I was looking for a place that had a true Tahoe feeling. This was it! Very mountainous, great for families, great location and very friendly staff. I could walk to the lake in the morning with my coffee and enjoy the campfire, making complimentary s’mores at night. I’d definitely come back!"
