"The hotel was welcoming, clean, light, staff were lovely. Corridors were quiet, couldn't hear any neighbours, which was a bonus as I needed to work and I needed a good night's sleep. The room was clean, although I found a dirty sock (which wasn't mine) in the corner of the wardrobe. The water from tap in the bathroom kept covering me in water, annoyingly every time I used the basin. I didn't bring a hairdryer as the room had one but please bring your own, the old gadget in the room kept...

"Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best."

"Where do I start! We stayed here 4 years ago and it was marvellous.it was thriving ,busy, Bustling . This time when we arrived we was told check in your car else you’ll get a fine ( great fair enough.) Then sign in and il take a card off you just in case your room gets trashed! Wow! We’re in our 60’s definitely not rock stars, id rather watch telly than chuck it out of the window! "Train station being close is about the only good thing this place has to offer. You have to make it past the bar with a bunch of rowdy drunks talking trash to you just to check in. Whoever took the pictures for this place deserves a raise. The room is tiny. The mattress is old. The bathroom is gross. The carpet is gross.
