Excellent central hotel in Nagano, very close to the station (around 5 min walk). We checked in late after the Shinkansen from Tokyo and the process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was good and twinned with Wendy’s so there was the option of a burger as well. Clean and tidy hotel.

Hotel Metropolitan Nagano
Great location right next to the train station and easy to access train, and local tram and buses. 30 mins walking dustance to the Zenkoji temple or a quick bus ride. The hotel is a big one and the staff was very helpful to our requests. There are lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel.

Hotel JAL City Nagano
The JAL hotel is wonderfully located in Nagano city, only a few blocks walk to the train station. A full and large Breakfast is available everyday on the top floor for amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Rooms are quite spacious.
