"Set in stunning grounds I wasn’t sure what to expect from the interior. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The spa is very nice the changing rooms were adequate you need £1 coin for the locker but the pool and treatment rooms were very nice. The sun loungers were a little tired and worn and they are very close to the ground so getting in and off them can be somewhat tricky. "Room was clean & with lovely furnishings. Staff were excellent, friendly & helpful. Good choice for breakfast, eggs royale was lovely. Our dogs were welcomed & catered for. Some lovely sitting areas with comfy seats. A lovely place to stay with good amenities. Recommended."

"Lovely hotel and the staff were lovely. Our Room was nice, but sadly the bathroom was terrible. If you went for a shower the bath would fill with water because the plug was stuck closed and the door handle to the bathroom was falling off. "

"This is a lovely hotel the only thing that let it down was the evening meal . Every night choices on the menu weren’t available. We stayed 5 nights and the evening meals were disappointing. We asked to speak to the chef and were told that all the meals came in frozen except the steak and didn’t resemble a rump steak it was shaped like a jenga brick and grossly we were offer gravy which we had to pay extra for and it only came with a few chips and rocket with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. "Really well appointed rooms with funky decor, great beds & funiture, and lovely bathrooms. They've done a great job of the hotel and grounds, and it's a great location in the village opposite the church. Easy access to nearby towns, the moors and the coastline. Would highly recommend. A real gem."
