Great budget spot

Great option for the budget traveler. Breakfast was fantastic. My stay didn't start off the best. The hotel was advertised with 24/7 check in, but I had to wait 20-30 minutes to check in, as the front desk person was on break. However, I was very impressed with breakfast - which redeemed them . It's not a comfort hotel, it's a student residence building - dont expect luxurious bedding and comfy beds. But my stay was comfortable for a place I was only sleeping in. I wasn't able to adjust the temperature though so heads up - i found the room cold. Bring your own pillow if thats an issue for you.

Good student dorm

Honestly really nice place, it definitely felt like a student dorm but a good one! And like all the other reviews: the breakfast was amazing!!! HUGE university style buffet.

Great service, location, and breakfast!

Excellent breakfast and lobby service. One female employee at the lobby desk seems easily irritated, but all other staff were friendly and helpful. The bed mattresses in the rooms are not very soft and were single beds, so that was not very comfortable, and the rooms were bland-looking. However, it didn’t really matter because who stays in their room much on vacation. You can tough it out. The location was quite good and there were subways and such very close to downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to save on accommodations and who wants an excellent breakfast in the morning!

So upon arrival, the first thing i noticed is it looked nothing like pictures. Beds had non-fitted sheets and were slippery. The shower didn't drain properly and when we asked the front to assist they didn't do anything about it. There was zero housekeeping the whole 3 nights we were there. They didn't provide us any garbage bags to clean up after ourselves which when using a hotel shouldn't even be something to stress about. A single room key for the 3 people i had in my room. $30 charge if its lost. They then proceeded to accuse us of smoking after finding a wet and broken and obviously unburnt cigarette butt. $500 fine, and damage to the carpet (stains, however if they had any housekeeping at all nothing would spill.

Only the breakfast is good...So noisy at this place...I was in room # 914 for 2 nights and I didn’t sleep... Not noisy in the interior, but the windows is so tiny that we hear every noise....Traffic, police siren, fire truck siren, motorcycle,,,,Be aware if you want to sleep 💤 🛏

Clean, affordable, great location!

Front desk staff is really rude, very unprofessional but it’s worth the stay and you only have to talk to them twice, hopefully. Place is awesome, affordable and in a really great location. The complimentary breakfast is amazing! Legit. Stayed in a suite with private bathroom on the third floor. It was really clean and quiet. Easy temp control. Probably would not stay on the third floor again, there is a communal balcony and dudes were throwing frisbees that hit our window and kept looking in. So that was weird and uncomfortable but the blinds pull down and it was only one night. Overall, will stay there again for sure!

The front desk attendant was very nice and accommodating. Real breakfast is provided. The cleanliness of the room was questionable. Can’t say I was completely comfortable. That being said, I understand that I get what I pay for and this stay was extremely cheap. It was actually worth what I purchased.

The room was not clean, there were socks from whom ever stayed in the room before us left right at the front door, the room stank so much that we had to air it out while running the AC and there was hair in the bathroom. It wasn’t what I expected. The only perk was the breakfast. The breakfast was phenomenal. But with a 10am check out you barely have time to enjoy it. Also the parking garage situation was also terrible and very confusing. Overall will not be staying there again.

I got to the room and it was dirty, the floors where dirty, there was a huge stain on the carpet, in finish stuff on the creaking, hairs on shower curtain. The mattress/bed made noise and was flat and springy. No cleaning service it is not a hotel

Nice stay

The residence is very well located at a walking distance from some major places. The breakfast(buffet) was really good. The staff was friendly. However, the room is small and the mattress is not very comfortable.

Terrible stay

This place seemed fine until I tried get some rest. The bed and pillow were the worst, the air conditioning is very loud in the bedroom and when sirens went by on the street below it sounded like they were in the room with me. In the bathroom the next morning water started coming in from the ceiling all over the bathroom, soaking everything. Avoid this accommodation!

First time visiting Toronto

Both security and check in staff were extremely helpful. Excellent breakfast selections, lots of veggies and smoothie in additional to traditional cereals and pancakes. Keep in mind that this hotel is primarily a functioning dorm. All your basic needs will be met but dont expect white glove service. On site parking is operated by a difference vendor but fairly priced. Excellent location, walkable to everything.

The place was accessible by public transport. You need access card to get in which is good. The down side is they only clean every 3 days. The bath tub was clogged but management was able to address the issue the day that I reported it. Breakfast was excellent though.
