"The hotel is right in the Jiufen Old Street, so it was very convenient. Room was comfortable and spacious. Good views from the window. Do note that if you are driving, the parking lot is about 10-min walk. The staff can help you carry the luggage on motorcycle, but you have to walk. Overall, very good experience."

"Excellent overnight stay. Neat Japanese-style room, good WiFi, great little bathtub and shower. The Japanese breakfast included in room rate was superb. The location on the edge of Jioufen might be a problem if you find yourself carrying luggage up the steps from the bus stop, otherwise it’s nice and quiet. But it was tricky to find. We didn’t anticipate any problems as we weren’t given any specific instructions. Definitely something that could be improved upon."

"The Inn is charming located with a good view of the sea and mountain. The place is well kept and clean. Breakfast is simple and nice and dining area is cosy. Getting there is challenging because of uphill climb and steps. Better to travel light. The place is not manned after 8pm and arrangement needed for late check in. Staff are friendly and helpful."

"This is a very beautiful B&B. It is in a prime location. Very close to bus stop. Right in the heart of Juifen old street. Looks beautiful. Lot of tourist take pictures in front of this B&B. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. My kids loved their stay here. They even gave us free breakfast for four. If I travel to Taiwan again will definitely go to Juifen and stay here again."

It is worth the walk up; it is only a five minute walk down the hill to one entrance of the Old Road - lots of shops as well as tea and eating spots. "Great view on the loft level. Nice neighbourhood. Feels safe. Place is very comfortable for 6pax as bathroom were huge with separate area for bathing and toileting even though it only has one each. Short walk from bustop with beautiful view of hillside and sea. Breakfast provided were generous. Stayed 2N but no housekeeping during our stay. "
