"The room was pretty clean but the shower had hair in it. The soap on the sink was running low. The sheets were a little itchy. There were no utensils. The temperature was comfortable and could be adjusted. The code on the door wouldn’t work but I was quickly assisted with getting a key from the lockbox. My biggest concern was not being able to park in the gated area because the parking lot was full. I feel parking should be assigned so each room gets one designated spot. I didn’t feel my vehicle was secure outside of the gates."
The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing first time at The Roosevelt. Loved that the staff were very sweet and approachable. Wonderful guest amenities including a cafe, restaurant (the breakfast was absolutely fantastic with good southern and creole fare(, and of course the Sazarec bar! I came to celebrate my Mom's 60th birthday and will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town. The beds were very soft and plush and the multiple shower head nozzles from the wall and ceiling made it feel like a spa! The coffee was complimentary but of course other things in the mini bar and snack items had an associated fee. One request would be for the pool to be cleaned a bit more frequently. Early in the morning it was still a bit dirty with sunscreen and other debris but by mid-afternoon the water was nice and clean! I'd recommend this hotel highly to anyone wanting a getaway without breaking the bank while still having a luxurious experience."
"I live an hour outside New Orleans so our family enjoys a staycation in the city about once a year. With that said I have stayed at many hotels all over the city and the Henrietta is my new favorite. It was clean, new, quiet. The views of the streetcar were so nice. The coffee shop and lobby was great, and the room was top luxury you can get in a city like New Orleans. Can’t wait to go back"
