"Property clean though obviously on this lodging is on the older side. Staff friendly & helpful. An in-room refrigerator made occasional (electrical? mechanical? not sure) sounds throughout the night that were noticeable but not sleep disruptive. Room prices were good for such accommodation. I would book here again."

"The bedroom area is extra large. The kitchen has a sink, microwave and breakfast counter with bar stools. The refrigerator kept our drinks cold. There is water coming up between the bathroom floor tiles and the bed has a large dip in the middle. The day staff is very helpful."

"To me this was a unique building with an interesting history. There is an art gallery inside and works of art throughout the lobby etc. that is definitely worth viewing. My bed was good. Some cobwebs on the pipes near the ceiling. Came with a little spider in the bathtub - was not an issue but for some maybe. Note that there is no a/c in the room that I had. The hotel is right on the ocean so unless there is a major heatwave inland, no a/c would rarely be a problem for most people imo."

"Off the main drag, this was the best place ever for an easy, one night's stay. We just needed a place to "hang our hats" for then night. Quiet, clean, easy parking, and cozy. Coffee and tea was in the lobby when we arrived and it tasted so good. Shops and restaurants nearby. One note: If you have many gadgets to plug in, you may wish to bring an extension cord or power strip. Like many quaint, older hotels, there are just enough outlets for the in-room appliances."
