Peaceful stay in Tulum

The residence is located out of the city which makes it a very quiet place for accommodation. The apartment had kitchen ware and very well working appliances. The only drawback for us regarding this residence is that you need to bike by the motorway to the Tulum Centro for which you have to pass through several trucks parked by the road, try to make yourself visible by your mobile phone flashlights and it takes around 15-20 min quite unpleasant bike ride. If you have a rental car or just easy with taking taxis everywhere then it is a really good option.

Truly Authentic/charming stay in Tulum

Mexico y Nubes is a charming place to stay. It's at the further end of town, which was nice because it was very quiet and away from all the busyness of Tulum. The apartment has everything you need. The dogs and cats on property are very well behaved.Downtown is close and there is alot of shopping and restaurants (about $40 pescos). The beach was about 7 kilometers.We got there late in the day, all beach club chairs were gone. Many people leave the beach at sunset, so getting a cab back was difficult, not only that but there is one road in to beaches and everyone leaves at the same time, so we got stuck in traffic for awhile. Lola our host, was the gem of Tulum She has lived in Tulum for 20 years and knows the area very well. She helped us with EVERYTHING, from were to have a great dinner, the best cenotes to see, to flagging us down a taxi whenever we needed it. We wanted to stay in Tulum a few days more (but her place was booked) but she did everything she could to try and find us a place to stay. She has a wealth of information. Don't expect a 5 star at this place (no pools, no room/maid service, no daily towel service) but Lola makes the whole stay worth the 5 star status.

Excelente alojamiento. Ideal para familias.

Excelente lugar para alojarse en Tulum. Limpio, seguro, amplio, silencioso, accesible y totalmente equipado. Lola es una excelente anfitriona y te ayuda en lo que necesites, ya sea información sobre el lugar o bicicletas para moverte por Tulum. Es muy recomendable para familias. Nos fuimos muy contentos de haber conocido a Lola y su residencial. :)

Good family place

Amazing service, the family received us as their own. One of the best showers in mexico (water pressure is not the best there). Cute cats anss dogs was a plus :) . Really quiet. The only downside was that the map on hotels.com is wrong. So use google maps to find the hotel.

Apartamentos frescos, muy limpios y tranquilos

Lola y su preciosa hija Bianca son dos joyas en medio del insondable paraiso Maya. Nos hicieron sentir mejor que en casa, nos cuidaron y orientaron con mucho cariño y cercania. Muy agradecidos por el trato recibido.

Lovely apartment in Tulum

Very nice self contained apartment in beautiful grounds situated ten minutes from Tulum Pueblo. Free use of bicycles is available. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We loved our stay here.

todo muy limpio, los apartamentos son amplios y tienen todo lo que se necesita. prestan bicis que son muy utiles para moverse por tulum. lo mejor la atencion de la dueña Lola siempre pendiente y servicial.

Nice family run residence

My husband and I were very pleasantly surprised by the warmth and care of the owners. The location is a bit removed from the activity of Tulum but we were given bicycles to use which worked very well. The accommodation was a 1 bedroom apartment and was spacious and clean. Cooking utensils were provided. Although the residence is removed from the town a bit, it is close enough to the highway that the noise of the trucks at night was a bit bothersome. Also there are 3 friendly dogs on the property that did bark occasionally during the night. Hearing protection would have been a good thing to have. All said though, we'd highly recommend this place. A very enjoyable stay.

The host was really welcome and made our stay very comfortable, she made sure the place was nice and clean before we arrived. The hacienda was also in a great location, we were far enough from the noise of the downtown Tulum area but close enough to get there in five minutes.

Great Stay in Tulum

Although it was only for one night as we were travelling further south into Belize, Lola was probably the best host we have had in a long time. The apartment was spotless and very roomy with everything you would need. The location is just at the edge of town, so if you are looking to go into Tulum you would probably want to have a car or at least a bike (which they have). It is very peaceful and quiet. Wi-Fi worked fine and we appreciated that there was no TV .The apartments and courtyard area are secured with a locked gate. When I asked if there was any coffee, Lola surprised us with fresh Italian Expresso that she made just for us! Served with some cookies, it was one of the highlights of our whole vacation experiencing the true generosity and friendliness of Lola. If we ever get back to Tulum, we would certainly book this place again as our home base. It was wonderful!

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Besitzer. Großes Apartment mit Küche. Kostenloses WLAN. Uns wurden Fahrräder geliehen, um in die Stadt oder an den Strand zu fahren. Etwas außerhalb gelegen, dafür aber sehr ruhig!

Graziosa residenza a due passi dal centro

Residenza poco distante dal centro quanto basta per godere della tranquillità che la natura di Tulum ti offre. Appartamento ben rifinito e curato, dotato di qualsiasi confort. Ambienti spaziosi e puliti, barbecue e giardino esterni impagabili. La disponibilità e gentilezza della proprietaria hanno poi reso speciale la nostra permanenza facendoci sentire a casa. Consigliatissimo

Very Nice and Best value for money

Wij hebben een maand door Mexico gereisd en veel hotels en appartementen bezocht maar vonden deze residencia veruit onze favoriet. Tulum heeft prachtige stranden en dit appartement biedt de mogelijkheid om los van de drukte van Tulum op je terras of in de tuin bij te komen, zelf je eten te bereiden in de keuken van je eigen appartement of te Bbq-en. Het ligt rustig en een 500 meter van het plaatsje. Slaapkamer is groot en heeft een comfortabele stille airco en fan. Aparte douche incl toilet en wastafel en ruime eetkamer/keuken met alle noodzakelijke uitrusting. Wij kwamen aanvankelijk voor 2 nachten maar zijn er 13 gebleven. De Italiaanse eigenaresse schrijft service met hoofdletters. Het zal niet meevallen om in Mexico een betere value for money optie te vinden.

Nice big apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The apartments are very large, comfortable and quiet. I had the best sleep here of my trip around mexico. The Italian lady who runs the small hotel is fantastic and good fun. It's about a 15 minute walk into downtown where there are some great cheap restaurants. They also have bikes you can borrow to ride to the beach, ruins or cenotes.
