Floors where sticky towels and washcloths were dirty. Has to go get towels. No one there to help you or answer your call. Also, no pool, Wii Fii ( no TV)

This place obviously has been being upgraded and spruced up but we had no heat and no hot water. The grounds were shabby as it needed mowed and cleaned up. We should, in any reasonable world, get our money back.

Upon arrival I was very nervous since the grass was not mowed, the business sign is faded and the pool has the cover caving in and doesn’t look opened for several years. The office is a mess with very limited hours. However, the little (very) cabin was all new inside. Bed was a comfortable firm memory foam. Bathroom is very small with a sink you couldn’t wash your face without making a flood on the floor. If your just needing a clean, comfy bed with a shower this is fine. The cabin was a little bit smaller than expected (photos on the website felt a little bit bigger) but everything was clean and comfortable. It was great having air-conditioning because we were there during a very hot week. We planned ahead and brought a an electric frying pan and an air fryer grill so that we could save a little bit of money and cook in our room so having picnic tables out on the grounds was wonderful to be able to take our food outside to eat. The only downside was the Wi-Fi was very weak, we were not able to use the TV at all because it was connected to Wi-Fi. Thankfully there was a great thunderstorm that we could watch as we shut off all the lights and encourage us to tell some scary stories to each other! My one suggestion would be to invest in a mesh system for the Wi-Fi so that the signal can reach all of the rooms and cabins successfully. Definitely helpful for parents like me that travel with children on the spectrum.

The room was clean, the towels were rough and dingy. The free WiFi” did not work. We had a deluxe cabin that had no chairs or small table to sit at, the closet had no bar or hangers to place our clothes. So for the stay we lived out of our suitcase. The microwave was located in a closet along with the dorm fridge which kept the food at proper temp. One of the 2 closet shelf was broken. The non-deluxe cabins had 2 fire pits and Adirondack chairs but none in the deluxe cabin section. When we tried to leave the office was closed so we could not drop off the key. The office did not have a key drop box. Check out is 10am but no one in the office at 9 to take your key. We went to breakfast and upon returning to the cabin the office door was answered by the woman who checked us in and she notified us that the office doesn’t open early and we should have been told to just leave the key in the room. And then said “sorry”. If you rely on TV or the internet forget it. They have Roku but no instruction guide. When Inasked if they had an ice machine I was told that the owner hadn’t gotten to it yet and the pool was not open. They appear to be trying to renovate the area but boy oh boy the guest should be made aware on the website that they are under restoration.

The room and bathroom were spacious. My only suggestion is there should be more than one lamp in the main room. A lamp is especially needed near the dining table.
