The staff was extremely friendly. Pool and gym were new and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choices. Lots of nice amenities.

Great location, close to UA. Rooms are spacious, modern and new. There is a new trail and park behind the hotel that is very nice. Highly recommend.

I love this hotel, but the one thing I dislike is how unclean the pool is. There has continued to be large clumps of hair in the pool and you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in quite sometime. So discouraging when it is a perk to staying at this hotel.

I have only stayed at a few hotels but this one blew me away! I love the entire room! The cost was very moderate especially with the amenities. The location was perfect, safe and beautiful! I am very pleased.

Extremely Surprised
I was extremely surprised by this hotel. Super clean, well decorated (Roll Tide), and great amenities. We swam in the indoor pools 3 times which was very clean and maintained. The good shower water pressure was also noteworthy.

Nice new place tl stay! We could wash our clothes easely. Breakfast was super and enough space/tables for it. Popcorn on every evening. Coffee and water all the time! Great studios! Big parking lots! Good service!

I like the spacious rooms. The water downstairs was often empty, the breakfast was very basic and not appetizing. More connecting rooms would be good.

The staff was very friendly and the room was spacious. We booked a suite and paid on the higher end of hotels in the area. We did so thinking we would have a good quality hotel. However, the hotel doesn’t appear to be kept up very well. The ceiling was peeling in our room. Massive areas with ceiling material hanging down. The cords for the TVs were dangling down the wall in a mess. Many of the channels didn’t come in well. The towels were stained both in the room and at the pool. The shower curtain was not long enough. It barely met the tub so water kept splashing out on the floor. It was also stained along the bottom suggesting it hadn’t been washed in quite some time. They kept running out of food at the breakfast. They literally ran completely out of milk, bacon and biscuits. I don’t mean for the day. They were out and needed to order more. Clearly they weren’t planning their stock accordingly. We were going to grill out one night but the grills were quite dirty. It didn’t look like they had been cleaned in a really long time if at all. Also, the pool was indoors and I expected it to have been heated. It wasn’t. The water was quite cold and the shower by the pool also didn’t have hot water hooked up to it. There was no way to warm up or even rinse off without freezing.

Gorgeous comfortable hotel
This hotel is beautiful. Updated with nice furnishings. The rooms are really big with huge sunny windows and nice shades as well as curtains. Very comfortable. Large free parking lot. They bake free cookies during the day (we only saw them once, maybe mid afternoon). Wish they had them at night after dinner or later at night. Yum. We were thrilled with this hotel. Across the river, but just a 7 minute drive from our son’s fraternity at the University of Alabama. The only negative was that we found 2 tiny bugs (cockroaches??) in our bathroom 1 of the 2 nights we were there. But I would stay here again. My favorite Tuscaloosa hotel in 3 years.

Hello Kristin,Thank you for taking the time to give us a review! We will certainly take into consideration baking cookies at multiple times throughout the day! Sorry to hear about the bugs, we have a dedicated pest control company that takes care of our rooms but an occasional stink bug or beetle does sneak it's way inside from the woods surrounding the hotel! I'm glad to hear we are your favorite and hope we continue to be for all of your future stays in Tuscaloosa!
