"Breakfast could have been better - sausage was cold and eggs were lukewarm The hotel is perfect ! Clean and smells good and the staff are all helpful"

"This is a cute little chalet. It slept the four of us just fine. Just a couple of issues, baby mothes throughout, back burner is burnt out on stove, light bulb was burned out upstairs, and overall the decor feels dated except for the new sofa. Also, outdoor chairs were dirty and filled with spider webs."

"Double room on 2nd floor was clean, fresh and well kept. Staff at nighttime check-in was pleasant and more friendly over the day staff. Breakfast was fine and had variety."

"We asked for a wine opener. Staff said that they had one, but was not returned. They provided additional information that it was lost six months prior and never replaced. The staff had a care less attitude. When we asked for recommendations of where to go to eat, we received "crickets" Not my normal experience at all Holiday Inn."

"The location of The Embers can’t be beat if you want to visit the town of Blowing Rock. The rooms are well appointed with balconies and rocking chairs. We enjoyed our stay"

"This hotel is nice and in a beautiful location. It is close to Main Street Blowing Rock with its many shops and restaurants. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations which we did not know when we booked. That was a disappointment. If you like to travel with your dog, this is the place for you."

"The location was wonderful. The renovations were well done. I loved the front porch area and fire put area. Check in was confusing and difficult to locate. I had to ask other travelers where to go. Once office was found the woman at the desk was very helpful. Overall, it was a nice place to stay."

"The condo was lovely, had been thoroughly cleaned, and was in a nice quiet environment with views of the forest and grazing deer. Amenities included an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna which was located ed in the main building on floor 2. Would definitely return."
