"The blonde woman at the check-in was very warm and welcoming. We were early and our room was not ready, but she said that she would call or text when it was. When we got into our room, it was amazingly small. But the number one main reason why I gave it three stars is because of the bleach smell. "The Dunes at Tybee Island is my go-to hotel. The place is old but very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable, and the air conditioning is nice and cold after a long day at the beach. The kitchen is a huge bonus, but restaurants are within walking distance. The pier and beach are a few blocks from your door. The pool is just steps from your room and so clean and refreshing. "I had to ask them to switch my room immediately. When I first entered there were nats flying around the room, the pillows had stains on them, and the tub was constantly leaking and wouldn’t stop."

"I liked the fact that the staff was very helpful. I didn't like the fact that I had to pay such a high deposit before I could get my room. Then you only get two sets of towels it was three of us. Overall I did us the laundry facilities and I liked having a decent kitchen for the kids. The parking lot floods so dont park in the middle, I had to swim to my car, the water was up to my doors."

"I was a little skeptical at first because the lobby smelled a little musty and it is an older in, but the room was spacious and clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff could not have been nicer and not having to pay for parking was a big plus! Very conveniently located across from River Street and some wonderful restaurants. I would definitely stay there again."
