"Fabulous motel, staff were so lovely & friendly. Room was so clean and decorated beautifully, only down fall I would say is the streaming on the telly so complicated messing with WiFi settings to get it going. But has to channels anyway, ample parking, restaurant was lovely m&s garage in walking distance to. All in all a lovely stay & the drink vouchers for my partners 30th birthday was such a lovely treat. "

"The breakfast was wonderful - but the room was not great - it was right next to an alley where people were drinking/smoking into the night; so pretty noisy (no double-glazing). There was no shampoo and the mirror light kept going on and off! The hotel is undergoing renovations which might be the problem. Wouldn’t recommend for now, despite much appreciating the breakfast. "This was a great place to stay for an overnight stop. Really great value. Bathroom was clean and functional. Beds were comfy, although a little rickety. Breakfast was basic, but decent. The staff were really lovely. The whole place could do with a bit of TLC, but for the price, it was very good."

"Staff were incredible and helpful for all our requests including local landmarks, the room was very clean. My only feedback would be there there seemed to be a certain ventilator fan hum throughout the night ; we got used to that but the establishment might want to check that - Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"Had a decent stay. Bed was not very comfortable though. Staff were polite. Food was just okay. Probably not stay again due to the fact on my day of departure, I practically had to walk over all the clean bedding and towels for the next guests because they had been placed on the floor outside my room and on the stairs that everyone uses to get to and from the rooms. Everything should have all been in a clean laundry bag."

"We were staying here because our bathroom is being renovated and will definitely stay again. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a brilliant shower that I did not have to faff around with adjusting, just turned on and it was the perfect temperature. The underfloor heating makes the room very warm although one can open the windows. In kinder weather, there are chairs outside each of the rooms to sit on and enjoy a drink or smoke, and the pub...
