"I chose the Standard because the Moxy wasn't available. I needed to be near my son's NYU dorm on 3rd. Ave. The Standard proved to be fantastic and I will definitely return. "On arrival, I found they added a surprise $40 per day "Access Fee" for the hotel. You'd think you'd have access when you've paid for a room, but not here. A shady way to dramatically change the cost of your stay once it's too late. They also put me on the 3rd floor initially, and the room was shaking from the music in the club below. "Perfect stay for a NYC trip, it was very close to everything about 2 ish blocks from time square and a very short walk to broadway. The valet parking was easy to use. "The first night was awesome very peaceful and calm,but I had to call the front desk due to the fact that once i turneddown the bed covering the top comforter were stained.

"Basic hotel in an incredible location. Don’t expect a coffee machine or fridge in the room. But there is free coffee and tea downstairs in the dining area where free pastries are served every morning for breakfast.
We have stayed here a number of times over the years. The place doesn’t change much, but you give all that up for being smack bang in the middle of the Village."
