"The property and location were fine, but not at the same level that Homewood suites usually are. The room kitchen was ill stocked, the dishwasher leaked, and I had to go to the front desk twice to get enough plates and silverware for the two of us. The staff at the front desk were very professional and helpful. The breakfast was a real disappointment, extra water had been added to the oatmeal and the gravy. "Mount Sequoyah is a beautiful place to stay. My partner and I were in town for a wedding weekend and wanted something a bit more interesting than your average hotel. Mount Sequoyah gave us the opportunity to unwind and watch the sunset from their lookout spot, walk peacefully and enjoy the grounds and the art, and sit on our porch and experience the wildlife. A mama doe and two spotted babies walked very close to our cabin. Our first night, we did not have warm water for showers, I am unsure...

"I’ve stayed in rundown motels and I know what to expect and what I’m getting for my money. But this place was unacceptable and for around $90 a night it’s upsetting. There were so many bugs in my room. And everything was extremely dirty. When I first got to my room I killed around 20 bugs crawling on the floor, walls, countertop, and fridge door.
