"It was a quick trip for my son and I but the room was very nice, Clean, and Up to date. Very impressed."

"Clean but pool was under construction and I wasn't allowed to get my money back to change hotels because I went through Expedia. Only reason I picked this hotel was because of the pictures of the pool and my kids couldn't use it."

"I use Holiday Inn Express and Suites whenever I travel between CA and NC twice each year. I really do not like leaving negative reviews, but Abilene is consistently higher priced than the other cities I stay in (Tucson and Tuscaloosa) and the hotel is never as clean and up to date. You deserve to know if you are planning a stay here."

"The staff was very nice, friendly, and always helpful. The suite we stayed in for 7 days was very spacious . The beds and sheets were clean the kitchenette appliances and walls area could have used some cleaning up and wiping down . The walls in the kitchen area needs to be wiped down along with the walls in the restroom. The hotels is well lit and close to lots of restaurants, gas stations and Walmart . Are family enjoyed are stay"

"The front desk people were great. Breakfast was good. The beds were comfortable except for the couch bed were my son had to sleep. It was torn and stained looked really gross fir the price we paid wasn't happy. Also half of the building was closed down from a fire 2 weeks prior. It smelled like smoke in hotel and rooms. Kids couldn't use pool because it was green and dirty. Again the staff was great "

"1st room had a broken a/c blowing hot air, lights left on along with TV. Stained sheets. Front desk immediately set us up in another room with good working a/c. However the last guest didn't flush the toilet and left an unpleasant smelly surprise. The swimming pool had no water. I guess it was out of order. On a positive note, the bed was comfy!"

"I have stayed here several times and I have no complaints. You get what you pay for. The rooms are clean and quiet even though they are older rooms and the bathrooms could probably use some painting and deep cleaning. Otherwise I have zero complaints and will stay again."
