"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "Have stayed here a few times. Staff are always courteous, helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. My only gripe would be that the shower unit could do with a shower mat to prevent slipping and falling and that the shower temperature was not quite hot enough even when turned up to full. Nevertheless overall it was a pleasant overnight stay and I will continue to book here in the future when visiting Sheffield. "

"Bathroom was clean, though pillows had make-up stains on and the heating was only turned on when we arrive so took a while to warm up. Staff friendly when we arrived. it is above a pretty noisy pub with inside steps from the pub or a fire escape style staircase from outside. Could hear a couple having an arguemnt on the street below as well. All in all, convenient if needing to be in area but not one if you need somewhere a bit more accessible or quiet."

"We didn’t have hot water for the whole of our stay. We were told it would come back on after the first day and it did not. The next time they said it we wanted to shower we had to do it in another room, however they asked us to share this room key with other people which wasn’t what we thought when booking.
