"It's a great place to go to relax, you have the cove about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. "It is a new property attached to the Bodmin Jail, which makes for a convenient visit to that site (the museum and 4D experience as good). The breakfast is very good and the breakfast / bar staff were very nice. The checkin was mixed. I could definitely tell they treat folks booking directly much nicer (the person standing next to me had booked direct) than booking via Expedia. "We had a lovely stay at China Fleet Club. The staff were professional, friendly, and always happy to help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Unfortunately, we had no hot water when we arrived, but after reporting the issue it was fixed within about an hour, which we appreciated. I also had a massage during our stay, and Emma was wonderful – very professional and made the experience incredibly relaxing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would happily return."
